February may be just ending, but it feels like we’ve been deep into our 2025 projects for much longer! We’re gearing up for CloudFest, improving our Domain Intelligence solution (mDI), and rolling out updates to our SEO plugin and web app.
Plus, our latest mDI product updates have been published too – more are coming, you won’t want to miss them!
SEO Tools
Improved Backlinks Reporting & Management
Backlinks are a key factor in SEO, but just knowing how many you have isn’t really enough!
That’s why we’re improving how marketgoo reports backlink data, making it easy to understand and more useful for users.
What’s changing?
- More meaningful backlink reporting: Users will see where their site is getting links from and how important those links are.
- Lost backlink alerts: Users will be notified when they lose valuable backlinks so they can take action.
Why does this matter?
Before this update, our users got backlink data, but it didn’t always help them make decisions.
They didn’t see how relevant a backlink is, what their competitors are doing, or what’s changing over time. With these updates, users (especially those on Pro plans) will get clearer, more actionable backlink insights to help them build a stronger backlink profile and improve their SEO.
Who it’s for: Web App users (both Lite & Pro users)
Where these features appear: in the Backlinks section

Smarter Upgrade Prompts
Users on lower-tier plans get value from marketgoo, but they may not always realize the benefits of upgrading.
To help users make the most of our SEO tools, we’re improving how and where we communicate upgrade opportunities within the product.
What’s new?
- More contextual upgrade messages: Instead of generic prompts, users will see upgrade CTAs tailored to the specific feature they’re using.
- Strategic placement of CTAs: Upgrade prompts will appear naturally when users reach feature limits, making the benefits of upgrading clear and relevant.
- Refined messaging: Each message explains exactly what the user gains by upgrading, reinforcing the value of the Pro plan.
Who it’s for: The changes go into effect first for Web App (Lite) users.
Where these features appear: Users will see context-aware upgrade prompts in key areas, including:
- Site Audit
- Tools Section
- Page Optimization
- Keyword Tracking
- Competitor Tracking
- AI Meta Tag Generator
- Backlinks Data

Improved Traffic Section
A website’s traffic tells an important story, but without the right insights, it’s hard to know what’s working and what’s not.
That’s why we’re improving the Traffic section in our SEO tools, making it easier for users to track their site’s performance over time and understand what’s driving results.
What’s New:
- Improved traffic reporting: Users will see how their traffic evolves over time and identify SEO-impacting factors.
- View of SEO-related factors: visits, unique visitors, visit duration, bounce rate, indexation status.
- Progress over time: how site visits have evolved over time, month over month.
- More accurate data: Users always have access to traffic estimates, but linking Google Analytics provides the most precise data, and will be highly encouraged.
Who it’s for: Web App (Lite and Pro)
- Where these features appear: Starting next week, they will appear in the Traffic section.
- Users who haven’t linked Google Analytics will see estimated traffic data by default.
- Users who link Google Analytics will get more precise, real traffic data.
